Close Your Eyes...

Relax your body – notice where you are holding tension and silently tell your muscles to relax…

Eyes relax, jaw relax, shoulders relax, hands relax, chest relax, thighs relax, ankles relax...

Take 3 deep breaths – make your stomach expand on the in breath and relax on the out breath. Breathe in for a count of 4 and out for a count of 7. Continue for 3 to 5 minutes.

Place on hand on your abdomen and the other on the middle of your forehead and sit quietly for a further 3 minutes, normal breath.

The forehead points are known in Kinesiology as ESR or Emotional Stress Release points and they can help take you from reactive back brain responses which are stressful to a more problem solving and calmer front brain response. Try it – your body and mind will thank you.
