Thai Massage is an ancient way of healing (dating back to Buddha’s time). It is a deep full body treatment using stretches, applying pressure to sen or energy lines of the body, gentle soothing movement and rhythmic rocking.

Thai massage induces relaxation, releases stress, increases flexibility, improves blood flow and neurological function, frees blockages in energy flow, tones internal organs and invigorates the body. It is performed on a futon on the floor with the client fully clothed and comfortably dressed.

From the moment you immerse yourself in the lush sounds, aromatic scents and twinkling lights of the Soul Space room, you will begin a passive “purge” of toxic tensions, thoughts and emotions to emerge lighter, calmer and more relaxed than you could ever imagine.

Utilising colour, sound, scent and massage our clients are taken on a pleasurable journey of deep healing and relaxation in the hands of two highly skilled therapists. Our session commences with an evaluation of your energetic profile, based on classic Chinese astrology, as you sip our special blend of warm detoxifying tea. Later as your feet are bathed and soaked in warm soothing mineralised water and your shoulders are massaged into blissful release, the busyness of life will be left far behind.

What follows for the next 90 minutes is a pleasurable combination of traditional thai massage, and the gentle balancing of mind and emotions through the use of healing sounds, coloured lights, crystal therapy and Reiki hands on healing as your therapists nurture and guide your body, mind and soul toward total renewal as you lie relaxed on our padded futon bed. The final act of sensory awareness is a tasting indulgence to re-ground the senses and delight your palate.

We recommend Zhen’s Soul Space Experience to those clients who want a chance to escape the daily grind and experience the “day spa like” pleasures of massage, meditation, and emotional renewal. Clients remain fully clothed throughout the treatment, but shoes and foot coverings are removed.
